Bookstall is on today Feb 21st

It's just no good. I've been doing a raindance all week so that I could play with my new Makita angle grinder today but, alas, all to no avail. I guess I'll have to do the stall instead. It's still a slow time of the year auctionwise, but I have some of the impressionist catalogues from the recent London sales and there will be stuff from my vast stock that you wont have seen before.

As an incentive, the first person to ask the following question will be able to choose two free auction catalogues:
"Do you think Terminator 2 is Zaha Hadid's favourite movie?"

The comps are never difficult are they? What are you waiting for? Andrew.

P.S. I hope you put money on the Kiwis to win the World Cup. There'll be a sign on the stall giving the result of the NZ vs England game to remind you of your mistake if you haven't.

P.P.S. The photo of Channing Tatum  adorning the side of London buses advertising his film Foxcatcher. Am I the only person who thinks he looks like a Springbok meathead?

Bookstall is NOT on today Feb 14th

The weather looks like it's going to be okay, but I'm just feeling too tired to do the stall this week. I'll spend the day trying to sort my stuff out and I'll probably go and buy an angle grinder. There's also a scrapyard that I want to check out as well before the rugby. Hopefully I'll be recharged for next week. Andrew.

P.S. Remember, the smart money is on the New Zealanders in the cricket.

Bookstall is on today Feb 7th

Well, It's been cold all week so I guess I have no excuse but to sit around in the cold for another day. I hope you appreciate me. Lots of the usual again.

As an incentive to drag yourself  out, the first person to say the following will be able to choose two art catalogues of his/her choice free:

"If  we sit here and drink some more beer,
we'll be two inflatable dolls in a hooker's bad dream."

It's a line from Gary's Song by Mark Eitzel, lead singer with American Music Club that came out on Songs of Love in 1991.

   It's easy isn' it? Andrew.
